OF IMPORTANCE:
This is the 5th co-hort of the RGV College Registered Nurse Apprenticeship Program which has been done in conjunction with DHR Health since 2024. This special program was approved by the Texas Board of Nursing and signified a groundbreaking initiative for RGV College because special funding was dedicated to each cohort of students that allowed them to commence their professional nursing journey through paid, on-the-job training at DHR Health.
This innovative program not only helps to address the need for more nurses but also provides essential support to new professionals by enabling students to pursue their educational aspirations while fulfilling clinical requirements with compensation.
The ten graduates from the 5th co-hort at RGV College are: Bessy Baby, Blandy Delgado, Yahaira Elizondo, Mirella Garcia, Isaac Gonzalez, April Hernandez, Jesus Ramirez, Jacquelyn Rodriguez, David Rogers, Lidia Villanueva.
