BROWNSVILLE, Texas - Economic development consultant David Garcia of Brownsville is running for the vacant Place 2 position on the Port of Brownsville Commission.
Garcia recently sat down for an interview with the Rio Grande Guardian to discuss his candidacy.
He explained why he was running, the importance of the port commission; his experience in city and county government - both in Washington, D.C., and the Rio Grande Valley - and his vision for the Port of Brownsville.
