PHARR, Texas - The City of Pharr partnered with Rio Grande Valley College (RGV College) to celebrate a milestone achievement.
The two entities co-hosted a press conference to announce the launch of RGV College’s 100th Vocational Nursing Cohort.
Pharr Mayor Ambrosio Hernandez said it was a “momentous occasion” that “honored nearly two decades of dedication to healthcare education and the thousands of students who have gone on to serve communities across South Texas.”
RGV College CEO Annabelle Palomo said the milestone “represents RGV College’s continued growth and impact in shaping the next generation of nurses.”
She said the celebration “highlights inspiring student stories, community partnerships, and the college’s role in advancing healthcare education in the region.”
