EDINBURG, Texas - Breast Cancer Awareness Month is upon us. Because of this, DHR Health's general surgeon, Dr. Cera Kroenke invited the Rio Grande Guardian to learn more about its Breast Center of Excellence.
Kroenke pointed out that DHR is home to the only National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers - or NAPBC - accredited Breast Center of Excellence south of San Antonio.
Kroenke said that at the Breast Center of Excellence, patients receive a complete spectrum of care, from initial breast screenings to breast cancer treatment and more. She said each patient is provided personalized care because DHR understands that each patient is unique.
Addition;;y, Kroenke said, as DHR has a wide range of medical services yes, doctors from various medical specialties are able to collaborate with oncologists to offer the best possible outcome.
