SAN JUAN, Texas - Tania Chavez Camacho, executive director of La Unión del Pueblo Entero, recently gave an in-depth interview to the Rio Grande Guardian about her group’s work.
In the interview, Chavez expressed her concern about ICE raids in immigrant communities.
The interview immediately followed a private meeting LUPE hosted with Janet Murguía, president of UnidosUS. Community groups that help low-income families in the Rio Grande Valley were invited to attend.
